A school of philosophy at the service of humanity
New Acropolis is a School of Philosophy that promotes culture and practices volunteering, proposing a permanent ideal of values to contribute to individual and collective evolution.
For more than 65 years, in over 50 countries, the School's programs have transformed the lives of thousands of people. Its vision includes a vocation of service to Humanity and the environment, developed through three lines of action: Philosophy, Culture and Volunteering.

Ethics guides every decision of the humanitarian volunteer. At the III Congress on Volunteering in Humanitarian Aid, the central theme was "Ethics and Volunteering in Times of Crisis", emphasizing the need to act with humanitarian principles, dignity and responsibility.

Standards
Quality and dignity in assistance
International standards —such as the Sphere Standards— ensure that aid is effective, coordinated and respectful. GEA Spain is a focal point of the Sphere International Project, promoting best practices in training, academia and the public sector.

The GEA Volunteer Group was founded in 1995 with an ethical and humanistic purpose, channeling the best human values toward service to society, nature and life.
GEA works in humanitarian aid, disaster intervention and volunteer training. Together with New Acropolis, it develops search and rescue courses, WASH, hydrological risk prevention and international emergency response as a Sphere focal point.
